Beyer Blinder Belle

Chrysalis worked with Beyer, Blinder, Belle on the New York City Hall Rehabilitation Project

New York City Hall, completed in 1812, is one of the oldest government buildings in continuous use in the United States. The building houses the offices of the Mayor, the City Council Chamber, the office of the City Council, and those of the Public Design Commission. City Hall has undergone numerous renovations and modifications over the years, without having an integrated approach.

Chrysalis provided Archaeological services as part of BBB's team. Excavation recovered information and materials associated with the 18th century history of the property as well as the construction and early 20th century renovations of City Hall.
