Jackson, NJ Wetland Mitigation

Chrysalis conducted a full Phase I Cultural Resource (archaeological and architectural) study meeting the requirements of the NJSHPO.

In advance of wetland mitigation works, Chrysalis conducted historic research and archaeological investigations into lands in Ocean County, NJ. Phase II testing in the area, bordered regions of active prehistoric activity and historic manufacturing development in the Pine Barrens. Chrysalis teamed with Lisa Easton Architects for the architectural survey and several structures on the property. This project yielded useful demonstrative soil profiles and material culture remains reflecting historic rural land development in New Jersey.
