Alyssa Loorya, M.A. RPA
Ms. Loorya is Owner and Principal Investigator of Chrysalis Archaeology. As an Historical Archaeologist she has worked within the City of New York, and surrounding area, since 1994. Ms. Loorya has developed special content curriculum in archaeology and historic preservation for the New York City school system and serves as the Laboratory Director for the Brooklyn College Archaeological Research Center.
Christopher Ricciardi, Ph.D.
Dr. Ricciardi is a Historical Archaeologist, listed on both the City of New York Landmarks Preservation Commission’s and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s approved list of archaeologists. Currently he serves as a Project Archaeologist and Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New York District. Dr. Ricciardi has worked within the field since 1990.
Sophia Perdiarkis, Ph.D.
Dr. Perdiarkis is a faunal specialist who is listed on the City of New York Landmarks Preservation Commission’s approved list for forensic/physical anthropology. Currently she serves as an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Brooklyn College, CUNY. Dr. Perdiarkis has worked within the field for over a decade.
Diane George, M.A.
Ms. George has worked in the field of historic archaeology since 2000. She has experience in both local research and field work.
Kirsten Smyth
Ms. Smyth has worked in the field of historic archaeology since 2000. As a Project Archaeologist and Tribal Liasion with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New York Distric she has experience in both local research and field work.
